I get this question quite often.

Answer: No

The fact that a full-service Realtor will admit to getting this question often is evidence that flat fee services are growing in popularity. The truth is, this is a niche market. You really don’t want your full-service real estate broker offering flat fee services. You are better off with someone who specializes in this area of real estate so that you can get the full benefit of the service.

Many home owners have this romantic notion of flat fee MLS services as "I’ll do all the work and you just leave me alone and everything will be OK." Not necessarily. If you don’t understand the sales process and if you don’t take the time to learn how to price and market your home then you could end up going to a full-service Realtor and you just wasted the 3 months or 12 months of time you spent trying to sell your house.
